  • Apollo Tyres Rs 122 cr-share buyback begins Apr 23 and will end on 18 March, 2010.
  • Buying price from share holder will be INR rs. 25.

    Please read the announcement carefully:
    The maximum price allowed for buyback is Rs 25.
    The period of buyback is 1 year.

    The buyers ICICI will definitely try to buy at price less than 25. The period is huge, some people will forget that buyback period is on.

    BTW: The company Apollo tyres has got good prospective. Sell during buyback. Buy it again after prices fall (if you are lucky.)

    Your write martin, but i haven’t mentioned to buy it for long period…but it will go upto 23 before starting of that period and it comes to 20%.
    So one can enter in taht rally. Btw..Fundamentaly its a very good and all auto sector is seeing good move so apollo will see as well
